Is this competition for my project?

Individual founders, teams and SMEs using AI technology or tools to create new ventures are welcome. You do not need an incorporated company or an industry brief; you can submit your own innovation.

Foreign nationals and mixed Chinese/international teams should select International Team. Initial application is online. Selected teams will be contacted about subsequent in-person activities in Lingang.

Robotics, smart wearables and consumer devices, intelligent terminals, XR, industrial hardware and edge AI.

AI + Software

AI tools, agents, enterprise software, SaaS, developer tools, digital humans and industry workflows.

AI + Products

AIGC short-form dramas, games and interactive games, fiction, digital IP and assets, immersive content and new experiences.

These examples are not limits. Explore manufacturing, tourism, education, performing arts, healthcare, retail, business services and other sectors. Choose the main direction by your core innovation and describe your specific need in the form.

What do I need to apply?

Start online with your team and project name, overview, innovation, target users, industry use case and specific need, and core AI capabilities and technical approach. Business model and IP/data-source details are optional.

Your online answers generate an application PDF. Follow the form instructions to sign it and share the form, declarations and relevant supporting files in one folder. Provide the link once and complete the checklist; detailed document and signing requirements are on the application page.

Can I apply without a prototype or demo?

Yes. Prototypes and working demos are not required for initial application. Explain your progress and development plan. Finalists develop and present verifiable outcomes in Lingang, Shanghai according to committee arrangements. Dates, shortlist size and participation details will be communicated separately.
